Disk Defragmenter keeps restarting as Find Fast indexing due to write disk.
Cause:
The Find Fast indexer is writing to the hard disk when updating the index. The Disk Defragmenter detects that the hard disk is being written to and restarts repeatedly.

1) Click Windows 'Start'.
Start menu
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'.
Control Panel from Settings menu
3) Open 'Find Fast'.
Find Fast
4) Select the 'Index' menu and select 'Pause Indexing'.
5) Run the Disk Defragmenter.
6) When disk defragmentation is complete, repeat steps 1-3.
7) Select the 'Index' menu and select 'Pause Indexing'.
